Meryll Rogge FW24-25
Electrify your mind
From everyday life to club life. This Fall Winter 24-25 collection marks 4 years of Meryll Rogge presentations and conjures our most festive impulses and desires to celebrate. An opportunity to dress for an impromptu party, to delve into the ingenuous frivolity found in the act of putting together an outfit, just before heading out.
Drawing from the unassuming energy of underground gatherings and Belgian new beat scenes, the looks combine faded floral upholstery prints and full sequin pieces, tailored coats in traditional menswear wools and leather bomber jackets. A 1990s youth culture edge, depicted by the likes of Tobias Zielony or Rineke Dijskstra, meets a more lighthearted sense of glamour and sophisti- cation. Superpositions of scarves and transparent vinyl raincoats and skirts set the tone – pragmatic yet inventive.
Layering is a key principle to last from dawn to dusk, to walk from the classrooms and offices to the sports fields and dance floors, as captured by British photographer Nigel Shafran in his Escalator series (2009). But the commuter’s look can hastily be transformed with a few unexcepted twists: paisley satin shirts are matched
With intricately embroidered knit cardigans in brushed mohair. With rhinestones and crochet trims, they bring a couture-like note to the ensemble.
Athletic gear, such as hoods and tracksuits in retro textured Japanese nylons and cotton jerseys, are worn under classic trench and black and white satin tuxedo-like coats. An oversized t-shirt is pragmatically mixed with a shiny technical duchess dress, to best enjoy the dynamics of the evening to come.
Exceptional and party-worthy: shiny lurex yarns are knitted into boa-shaped scarves and paired with dresses cut in technical satin. Lacquered bouclé wool skirts and jackets follow zipped-up jumpsuits in sleek and bold silks.
The collection unfolds like a succession of partygoers, spontaneously brought together for the thrill of dancing and just letting go. All ages, genders and backgrounds line-up, eagerly waiting to enter a venue. Like a muffled soundtrack, the music is already pulsing, time to dive into the freeing space of night life, just behind the door.

Meryll Rogge is a womenswear label based in Belgium
A contemporary wardrobe infused by surprising associations, it offers classic and sturdy pieces revisited with a sense of unexpected beauty. Drawing simultaneously from the radical simplicity of menswear and the exquisite sophistication and coqueterrie of eveningwear, the label seeks to establish a joyfully ambivalent style – one made of fortuitous connections and pragmatic sartorial decisions. A strong and bold idea of femininity as a creative principle and a firm belief in the long lasting qualities of standards, both in shapes and materials, define the label’s identity. Crafting a forward-looking style imbued with a true love of the past, the label dresses a free-spirit woman who favors the assertion of the individual self over norms and repetitions. Meryll Rogge is a creative director, hailing from both Antwerp and New York, whose ever-shifting approach to fashion embraces the ultra-masculine just as effortlessly as the decorative opulence of the feminine.
Designer profile
Belgian-born Meryll Rogge started studying Fashion Design in 2005 at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. She is part of a generation of Academy graduates that is breaking the mould in fashion today. In 2008, Rogge left school to land her dream job by joining Marc Jacobs’ design team in New York. As a Women’s Collection designer she had the opportunity to work on some of his most iconic collections. Nearly 7 years later, she returned to Antwerp to become Head of Women’s Design at Dries Van Noten. The start of a fascinating collaboration that has lasted for many inspiring years. Today, the creation of Meryll Rogge is a natural evolution of Rogge’s accomplishments and ambitions. Wishing to express something more personal, she set up her studio near her hometown Ghent. In 2021 Rogge received the Belgian Fashion Award for Emerging Designer, and the following year was nominated for the LVMH-Prize 2022.
