HOMiES BY COSEINCORSO
Off programme exhibition during COLLECTIBLE in Brussels

From March 6 to 12, COSEINCORSO, the designer’s duo based in Brussels, presents its first iteration of their ephemeral gallery which showcases works from artists and designers that inspire them a lot and revolves around the theme of gestures and the importance of the handcraft.
“We want to highlight handmade creations, which integrate a specific knowhow. Our aim is to allow these pieces to engage with an existing interior design context... “ explains Marwann Frikach.
Such as Natalia Brilli and her leather-bound items, Jenna Kaës and her experimental approach to glass, ceramics and metallics and Régis Jocteur Monrozier with his sculptural take on furniture. In the exhibition these artists also meet works by painters, equally bound by the atelier process.
“HOMiES” takes place in the apartment of the collector Jean-François Declercq, on the third floor of a pre-war yellow brick building in the Sainte Catherine neighbourhood, which has been completely reimagined with a selection of collectible furniture, experimental ceramics and one-of-a-kind art pieces. The intent of COSEINCORSO is to step away from a classic gallery, an dive into an interior and create a context for each piece.

About COSEINCORSO
COSEINCORSO is a multi-disciplinary design studio founded by Marzia Cerio and Marwann Frikach.
Their approach aims to reintroduce poetics into the production process and highlights the cultural context in which objects are made. They focus on research and handcrafted production as well as on the valorization and transmission of know-how. They work in collaboration with artisans and source local materials.
Each project is inspired by history, archaeology, and geography and translates the essence of a region into physical form.
