The sound of tropical birds, the feeling of total freedom, water breaking the ultimate silence and the purity of traditional tribes: Antwerp fashion label CASTART headed for Coca in Ecuador for SS22 to be carried away by the flow of the Amazon.

The biodiversity of the Amazon forest is reflected in the use of natural fabrics. The collection is tailored to a colorful journey full of variety, from super-chill to high-summer tropicalia. She combines uneven knits in mohair with pants made of canvas cotton and knitted lightweight polos with seersucker shorts made of Italian cotton. Iconic for CASTART is the polo-cardigan with contrasting color blocks in cotton and cashmere. Absolute eye-catcher of the season is the summer shirt with camp collar and matching shorts, both of Italian cotton jute in check pattern.
New graphic prints, colors and textures reflect the wonders of the rainforest in every detail. The color palette moves with the flow of the Amazon: from the earthy tones of Ecuadorian vegetation to powerful colorblocking, linked to the final meet in Brazil.
This biotope of a variety of tribes sums up the goal of CASTART's new SS22 collection: to empower a colorful community of individuals.

Despite this worldly inspiration, the collection is designed in Antwerp and executed in a small-scale studio with quality fabrics - sustainable materials such as natural or recycled wool and organic cotton. In addition, both labels advocate timelessness, but not without personality: the CASTART man is not a trend slave but builds and stays true to his own style.
